The figurine is a woman dressed in an elaborate, ruffled gown with delicate porcelain laced details which is characteristic of Dresden porcelain lace style. The woman appears to be holding a small purse or fan.
The lamp shades elaborate layered fabric design typically are made of materials like silk or satin, often adorned with pleats, ruffled skirt and bows to mimics the dress of a doll, a common feature in these decorative lamps from the early to mid 20 century.
The figurine rest on a very ornate, possibly ceramic or porcelain base with decorative elements and a floral motif.
We believe the artist to be James Mallory, and lamp shade possibly Louie Vuitton. The woman figurine measures 15” tall and 9” wide, the lamp shade measures 16” tall and 24” wide, and the base measures 4” tall and 12” wide for a total height of 34”.
