A colorful 24x36 poster from 1989 promoting Ravinia, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra's annual outdoor summer music festival. Credits across the bottom indicate it was designed by Christy Erazmus of the Northern Illinois University's School of the Art Institute, and sponsored by the Ravinia Women's Board. The printer is also noted.
The poster is in a simple black metal picture frame behind Plexiglas and has a Masonite backing. One metal retaining clip is missing. The clips could be re-arranged to allow for a hanging wire across the back. The Plexiglas is in extremely good condition with hardly any scratches worth mentioning. The poster is in excellent condition with no apparent creases and no evidence of humidity damage.
Great wall decor for a music, orchestra, or band teacher's classroom, or for an aspiring music student's bedroom.
$10 cash and carry. In Lisle near Ogden & Naper Blvd. Search "toysaurus" for other postings.
