This is a very, very nice and rare etching done by Artist Bernie Brown in 1992 from the Montana Marble Inc. The title is "Reflections of the Past". This title is etched in the center bottom for the artwork. The artist is Bernie Brown and is signed by him in the bottom right corner. The marble company, Montana Marble Inc. is etched in the bottom left corner. The etching is very rare because it has pictures hidden in etching. The most obvious is the Indian Head and the two horses. If you look at the reflection of the horse you will notice differences. There is a birds nest on the side of the face of the Indian. There is a deers head with antlers in the bottom right corner. If you look very closely you will find others in the etching and it also tells a story of the past vs present. It is a very unique piece of art and is one of a kind. No two etchings are the same. It is in a black frame. The measurements including the frame is 17 1/2 inches x 22 3/4 inches. The measurement of the marble etching inside the frame is 21 1/2 inches x 16 1/2 inches and is fairly heavy...since it is marble. To my knowledge this extra large size etching is no longer being made or sold, if you find anything now, it's usually the smaller sizes (around 8 x 10 or so) I don't remember the exact amount that was paid for this artwork but I think it was about $400.00
