WWII OPA Red Point token. (Office of price administration) World War II ration change token. Made from vulcanized fiber. 16 mm. The tokens was issued from 1942 to 1945 when rationing ended. They were used by a retailer to give change back for food bought with ration stamps. Stamped YU for the demographics of usage.
The second token is a Philadelphia PRT- public rapid transit token. The token is from the 1920's. It measures 16 mm and made from nickel plated brass. Marked/stamped Good for one fare. Asking $8.00 for both tokens. A novelty item for the history buffs. I'm located just south of the Fox Valley Mall. Naperville/Aurora area. I have more antique, vintage and collectible items listed on Bookoo.... just ask...... FYI-its difficult to take pics of the tokens because they are so small. If you google WWII ration & Philadelphia PRT tokens you will find a better image of what the tokens look like...
